Samsung Galaxy R Announced; Cheaper Variant Of Galaxy S II


Last June, Three Sweden announced a down-spec’d version of Galaxy S II – Galaxy Z. The phone is specifically proposed for Sweden operator 3.
Today, Samsung is aspiring towards the souk of Europe and Asia, they have announced a further variant of the Galaxy Z which is dubbed as the Galaxy R, which in a way alike to the Z.
Galaxy R has an internal memory capacity of 8GB, and it is motorized by 1GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset. With WVGA (800×480) resolution, it also modeled with a 4.19-inch S-LCD screen.
There is a 5MP camera with LED flash, fixed at the back of the Galaxy R phone. This phone is competent of recording videos at 720p High Definition resolution, and it has the capacity of playing back 1080p HD videos.

Additional traits of this phone comprises of Wi-Fi b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack, microSD card slot, Bluetooth v3.0+HS, Wi-Fi direct and a group of sensors affixed in it . The R has a battery of 1650mAh battery, which in a way in competent of working for 550hours long hours in 3G on standby mode.
The Galaxy R seeps on the most recent version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread, plus Samsung’s Touch WIZ UI flowing on top of it. By mid of August 2011, Galaxy R phone is expected to bang the retail stores of Europe. But the pricing of this phone is still not disclosed yet.
